Adorar o Criador e não a criatura

Romanos 1:25

(os homens) Trocaram a verdade de Deus pela mentira; adoraram e serviram as coisas e seres criados em lugar do Criador, que é bendito para sempre Amém.

A seguir lemos uma historia bem interessante ilustrando como é fácil colocarmos coisas no trono do coração que na verdade é o lugar onde Deus deveria morar...

 

Romans 1:25

They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator - who is forever praised Amen.
 

The story is about a little girl whose desire was to have something very cheap (glue) that she saw in the store. She did little jobs to her mother and the neighbor and her grand mother gave her some money too. Finally she could buy that special thing.

She never separated of this gift.

One day her father, that every night tell her histories, asks her:

- Do you love me?
- Sure dad!
- Then give me your glue!
- Oh dad I can give you my toys… but the glue no…
- Ok, good night.

Another night the father tried again:

- Do you love me?
- Sure dad!
- Then give me your glue!
- Oh dad I can give you my dolls… but the glue no…
- Ok, good night.

The next night when her father came in her bedroom, she was crying…

- What’s happening?  He asked.
- I decided to give you my glue because I love you more than it!
The father was waiting for this moment…
Then he gave her a real jewel.

God is our great father and the best person to love!

He is the best gift in our life.
He is waiting for us.
Turn your eyes; look from Jesus!
